The Cave - Kalimba, Ukulele, Xylophone, Bass, Mandolin, Sax, Melodica, Recorder, Guitar

The Cave is a song that was originally recorded by 'Mumford & Sons' and was included on their 2009 album 'Sign No More'. It reached number 27 on the Billboard Hot 100.

This song is a collaboration I recorded with maybabytumbler. I was introduced to her channel last summer when I was organizing a mass collaboration of the song Wavin' Flag. The video received several positive comments about maybabytumbler's singing, and many people requested that they wanted to hear more of her singing. Since it was such a pleasure working with her, I asked if she would be interested in collaborating with me in another video.

The most difficult part of this collaboration was choosing the song. Several song suggestions were sent back and forth before maybabytumbler suggested this one. I hadn't heard this song before, but after listening to it a few times I agreed that it would be a great song for a collab!

I transposed the song up one semi-tone from the original key it was recorded in. The instrument at the beginning that I used is called a Kalimba, I received mine for Christmas from my Aunt and Uncle.
