i don't think you understand what "3D" actually means. three dimensions means literally: "up/down, left/right, forward/backward."
you are living in three dimensional space right now, we all are.
i could go into the "fourth" dimension(time), but that would confuse the point i'm making.

diddo. Unless I'm missing something. It looks like they put multiple projectors at different angles and lined them up rather nicely- but I don't think the 3d structure in anyway effects the 2d gameplay (other than make it extremely difficult.)

@semiot Well we can't run around the game because we don't wanna be falling off cliffs and getting bullets up our asses.

Great Job, This is what thinking out of the box is all about.

Is a mapping video game... nice.

I think it's shit. Looks completely provisional, not the real deal.
-
its a giant uncalled for structure... kinda unwanted.

I love you. There. Happy?

brilliant!!

Well that was a complete waste of time. I could walk out in my yard and stare at a pile of dog crap and feel about the same way.

Holy fuck. This is the first time I ever saw anyone try and back up their piece of shit chain mail.
You're a fucking moron and nothing good is going to happen.
are you using a projector and projecting the game on the 3d space?

pretty much, the idea was less about technology and more about a simpler question. If the technology did exist, what would playing a game feel like? Why can't i run around the game instead of watching the game space move itself around on a TV screen? It seemed like it would be more fun... so this is a quick n'dirty way of experiencing that without waiting for holographic projectors to escape a sci-fi novel ;)

Is it fair to say that there's "no screen?" Don't the blocks themselves constitute a screen?
Of course, if the blocks themselves are virtual objects...

heh, fair enough, was trying to find the best way to describe it in one line, and since you're not looking at a monitor like you would in say, an augmented reality experience, figured that was a good way to do it, any other suggestions?
