  • @changeishere2008 50 years ago they use to preach like this all the time, Now all these Joel Osteens amurged.

  • Christians should be open to ask questions, fighting the good fight of faith, not confirmed to the things of this world. We are not insecure or sceptical! People like Paul Washer actually care about your souls, not using tricks or the latest gimmicks, stimulating your nerve endings with temporary emotional self preaching (hype). Confronting problems is an opportunity for change and setting people free which leads to true repentance at the foot of the cross!

  • Think about this. If you are predesetined to go to Hell then why be a Christian cause it wouldn't matter your fate is sealed. If you are predestined to Heaven they why be a Christian as no matter how bad you are you still go to Heaven. So can you see the flaw of this doctrine? It takes away the free will that GOD gave us. It takes away the need to the death of Christ. It is not biblical. People who preach it take scripture out of context to try to prove it is sound and that is wrong.

  • You see God would not do something that would contradict himself or his character yet the doctrine of Predestination and God hating us is contradictory to his character. You asked if this doctrine offended me the answer is yes because it is false. You see God foreknew EVERYONE WHO EVER LIVED. He did not foreknow or predesetine us to go to heaven or to hell.

  • aTang14 those passages are not talking in the context of God hating people. If God hated mankind, his creation, would he have sent his only son to die for us? I think not. That act along is the highest way to show love. Second God and Jesus have commaneded us to love each other even our enemies? If he hated mankind that commmand would make him a hypocrite wouldn't it? Revelations 13:8 has nothing to to with predestination and the othere you are taking out of context.

  • Friend, we don't need to argue, just look at Scripture. We don't claim to understand God fully, nor do we dare to twist His character. Just see Psalm 5:5-6, Psalm 11:5, Malachi 1:3. Predestination: Jude 1:4, ROMANS 8:29-30*, John 15:16, Revelation 13:8. Meanwhile, God is PERFECTLY loving and righteous. Does this doctrine offend you? I hope not. To describe God to us is like to describe the Internet to ants, says Pastor Warren. His thoughts are higher than our thoughts. Be blessed.

  • Predestination. God does not pick before hand who goes to Heaven and who goes to Hell. If he did that would make what Christ did unnessisary. God does not hate people period.

  • @lhversaw What makes it a false doctrine?

  • Sorry guys I'm not buying it God LOVES EVERYONE, he just hates sin. This is false theology and so is this predestination crap. It is as bad as universalism. Please don't fall for this false doctrine.

  • "Good theology must exist because bad theology exist and must be answered"
