This video demonstrates progress to date in a collaborative project between computer scientists, and atmospheric and climate scientists to develop a framework for utilizing cloud resources to run large scale geoscience experiments. Leveraging ongoing efforts in building and executing meteorological models on Windows HPC Server, orchestration of atmospheric workflows through the Trident Scientific Workflow Workbench, and extending components developed in the Linked Environments for Atmospheric Discovery (LEAD) project , we use the Azure cloud as a platform for executing numerical weather prediction models
