Heya Elle,

I just wanted to thank you for being a really kind person while making this video (not that you aren't kind all of the time!). While I have never been raped and I hope that I never will be, a few of my friends have had to experience that utter act of cruelty, one of whom was gang-raped for a number of hours. I can also relate to what Ashley is going through in her transition because I'm transitioning as well.

I care too... and I don't like seeing people freeze... ever...

I am still amazed by how much it means to me that people appreciate this video, because it so purely came from the heart. It's all because Ashley is so dear and endearing. She brings out humanity in so many people. It's interesting how sincere and meaningful connectedness can be in brief encounters on the internet. So distant, yet so close. BOggles the mind.

Shes a nice person, and so are you. I really, really hate it when kind hearted people get hurt.

I watched the film "Evan Almighty" a while back, and one of the key parts of the film was where Morgan Freeman said that the work "Ark" is an acronymn for the phrase "Acts of Random Kindness" and that its those acts that make the world go round. I think that its a pretty accurate statement. :-)
