  • @haldene12 @bigplans01Actually, lack of sunlight can play a role (vitamin D) and Dr.s have noted also that many MS'ers are from Irish descent and have very fair skin fwiw.

I was outdoors all the time as a kid. I burned easy but would eventually Tan (not now). I have to keep the D up or I definitely get sick more often.

  • fascinating

  • Thank you i believe i have it.. i was raised in Canada ...inside alot...severe mononucleosis at 5 yrs./ impetigo/.bile attacks++./ strep throat++,shingles@11yrs, migraine headache++ all before 13yrs. Chronic fatigue as an adult, little energy, no diagnosis..seems like dr's want to right it off as stress.(I am a nurse).I have seen many dr and in Canada they don't seem to follow proper protocol with consults. know i am sick but it waxes and wanes.I can't work full time .. i need a good dr. help..

  • My mom was diagnosed with MS at the age of 34 and progressed very rapidly despite several aggressive treatment avenues. Ultimately, she experienced the onset on various organ failures and died of aspiration pneumonia at the age of 56.

    Her background/childhood:

youngest of 2 kids (born/grew up May 30, 1956 in Bartlesville, OK) raised by stay at home mom, not very "outdoorsy" even as a child, no asthma and just seasonal allergies, however, she had mononucleosis (Epstein Barr) in high-school....

  • VERY INTERESTING and now being added to my blog

  • I was born in December, the youngest of 3, not much contact with other children at least from the age of 9 as my mother died then and my father became extremely possessive with me not allowing me to have friends. also from the age of 9 I was indoors most of the time as I wasn't allowed to go out. I can't talk about my infancy as my father does not tell me anything about it. Before diagnosed of MS, I live from 17-24 in Ireland, 24-28 England, 29-30 at sea, 30-33 in Mexico, 33-36 back in england.
