  • great did you get yr mac pro

  • No :(

I read the rumour sites and and decided to wait for the new mac pros, and when the came out the baseline model was £800 more here in the UK, so now im ether gonna have to get a refurbished 2.8 when the have them in the Apple Store or get a used one from eBay which i dont really want to do.

But for now, the G5 is still going strong, its just slow encoding videos :(

  • Make a setup video please

  • Ill record one now, and i'll pop it on tomorrow morning :)

  • and what you think about command PURGE in Terminal consol?

  • does this do any harm to your ram?

  • Smallville!! xD

  • I know your speaking english but cant understand a word you're saying. lol

  • Looks like you can do sudo du -sx /

in the terminal console and does the same thing...

  • @nerdishtech 800 is not much for a mac pro there 2k or do u mean macbook pro and if so still not that much

  • TANKS!!!! A!!!! GILLIAN!!!!

  • Actually a fairly simple program, all it does it eats up ram till there is none left, then releases everything. let me know if you want a command line free version. that works a bit faster.
