Fruit Corners Fruit Bars

This is one 80s product that I just don't get. Like Fruit Wrinkles and Fruit Rollups, this was a Fruit Corners product that was advertised as "so good...and UGLY!" Umm, I don't see how they are uglier than the other products. Was it just trying to appeal to certain people? Anyways, it had a funny series of commercials.

Notice how the guy wearing the white blazer had them stashed inside like they were drugs. Also, his friends were like "You bring the good stuff?", then as they ate them, they were hootin' & hollorin'. Hmmm, What's REALLY in those Fruit Bars? A little crack? A little Ecstacy?

I look for something like this in the store but the closest thing i can find are those fruit bars that Target makes.
