Yeah, they both have. They are also both British cars using American engines. Why did this turn into a fight? Some American idiot (yes, I'm American and called another American an idiot, what about it?) tried to come along and pull the "Brit = Crap" card. Why does the world hate us? Because the shallow end of the gene pool screams louder than those who actually have brains that they choose to utilize.

@DJP49 Nah, I'd say they're pretty similar. The Ultima is actually 50 year old technology too, what with the 4 wheels, an engine and transmission and all. Hahaha no I'm kidding. Thing is though they are both kit cars, and I'm pretty sure depending on how you go about it you could spend the same on these things. I'd personally much prefer the gtr cause it seems like a much better daily driver what with a roof and all.

Not really.
The Cobra is 50 year old technology.
The Ultima GTR just had a bad run (he never really got traction).

@DJP49 yes but even if cobra is slower i will never chose a gtr to buy... cobra is better looking has racing history and god its awesome

You are correct.
With their current value in the high 6 to mid 7 figure range only a very few original car are doing things like drag racing these days. Many modern replicas have far more power than the originals though.
