I completely agree. DSMs have a rep for going fast for cheap. For example:

My roommate has a bone stock 98 GSX. Just last Thurs. he ran a 15.7 in the 1/4. One of our good buddies has a 95 GSX with a lightweight flywheel, a decent size FMIC and a Greddy BOV. He ran a 14.6. They are both VERY good drivers, so the driving is pretty much the same. Just goes to show that a little money makes a DSM haul ass...

actually, i dont know all the mods of this car. It was my friends car, and it was pushing over 400 hp. congrats on your tsi. in my opinion its one of the best cars and powertrain for the buck ever built.
