I sware Harry does not look he was sick during this commercial!! Hard to believe a month later he died
-
I was waiting for him to say "Outta Here" one more time
-
i still miss that voice R.I.P harry
-
I remember the first time I saw this I laughed my ass off
-
One of the special things about Harry was that he never thought of himself as a star.
He only considered himself as one of the Phillies' biggest fans and just an ordinary guy who happened to get his dream job.
That's why he was so approachable and why he absolutely, openly, adored Philadelphia sports fans.

well put

Level - you were only 10 when the Phanatic came to Philadelphia from the Galapagos Islands (according to the official bio - wink).
I am only 4 years older than you, but the only time in my memory the Phils weren't on 1210 was the short time they were on 950 WPEN ("We Practically Emit Nothing") in the early 2000's. They were on 1210 even back when it was WCAU-AM and owned by Channel 10.
Did you know that the Phanatic made his debut on WPVI's "Captain Noah And His Magical Ark" in April 1978?

I been a Phils fan my whole life.I can remember a time when the Phils never step foot in CitizensBank Park, didn't play on Comcast or 1210AM.I can remember when they NEVER won any World Series.I can remember when the Phillie Phanatic didn't exist. But since my birth in 1968 I can never recall a season without Harry K.
Mr.Kalas you are missed deeply.

Long live Harry Kalas!!!

Only one minor detail was missed.
What Philadelphian eats a soft pretzel without mustard?
Thanks to Super Pretzel for making the decision to share this commercial with us - and for editing it to honor the memory of Harry.
Hopefully, Harry is once again with "Whitey".
