People from the Yelp Scottsdale office show off their dance skills in the food court of Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall. The performance was ended prematurely (you can't plan ahead with a flash mob, that defeats the purpose!) but the crowd was definitely entertained.

  • Great flash mob. as ex security for this mall I think it would be fun to join you guys next time. Talk to mall management first so they can leash up the security manager. Note it was only the security manager you had problems with. the other security guards didn't respond to this call on purpose. All security are not haters guys.

  • I'll talk to our flash mob organizers but seeing how a few of our people were banned a year from the mall it probably won't be happening. Maybe we'll do a new one next year (after their 1 year expires lol). I know the people were just doing their job, if they don't respond they will hear it from their higher ups.

  • this is how se know a flash mob is real...

  • Absolutely GOOD IDEA to make some type of notification to Mall Mgrs. that you would like to present a Flash Mob experience in their MALL although what I've seen is quite positive, and in this day and age we need the distraction and some merriment.

  • Awesome!! MORE MORE MORE!!! DONT LATE THEM RUIN A GOOD THING

  • Robin Sparkles wasn't singing about going to THIS mall. Thats for sure!

  • All the officers in az are jerks, they dont have any fun in them!

  • best mall in az.......in the southwest

  • I didn't know dancing was illegal. Jeez. Thank you Officer Buzz Killington.

  • @operasinger24 No they don't. Retail stores, malls, stadiums, etc. are in fact PRIVATE property, and as such, the owners have a right to tell you that you may not film. Typically it is posted with signs, but if it is not, then it is always a good idea to ask beforehand.

  • @DesertHik3r Even amazon if you look in their policies u will find they too have rules people must abide by or they will suspend ur account temporarily or permanently. Everywhere in life there is order. if u were on PUBLIC property then you are totally right. You have the right to record away. If a cop tells you to stop recording cops or public property u don't have to, because unlike mall security police Are paid by the state ur tax dollars. So they work for you. Im on ur side, knowledge=power
