@JalissaBlogTV "Not really"? You must not know Aaliyah? I mean the type of person she was. She had a negative smart sarcastic mouth & wanted to be tough. She also was pushing herself too hard which brought alot of attention to herself in her last days. People were too blind & oblivious to see that. Her death coulve been prevented on her part.

@1990babyface if anything it wasn't her acting career but yet her music career. the plane was to small and couldn't carry the load of equipment + passengers. the pilot was on drugs and wasn't authorized to take flight and he did and seconds after the plane went down. remember. the plane crash killed Aaliyah but she didn't die alone. 8 other people also lost their life due also to the plane crash.

@1990babyface her death had nothing to do with this movie. she died as part of filming her music video in the Bahamas.

@1990babyface I think they were looking for a African American female to play this role and she fit the part perfectly. her facial features, her body, perfect African American female to portray Akasha on screen. this breaks the racial silence in film about black people paying exotic parts as vampires. because obviously it can be done and she was beautiful .

@1990babyface Not really. I mean it was a small path on the dark side for her considering this was just a movie. she really didn't do much of anything evil. she just dressed to looked the part and recited some lines. I don't think that's weird. everything going on in this movie is the norm to me because I love Fantasy, Vampires and metal music. Just like the death of Brandon lee, regardless what really happened it is tragic.
