@rockking05 Well I'm 24 and have passingly liked a couple 16 and 17 year olds in the past 4 years but never done anything about it. I think the laws right now are good, however they don't take into account age differences of only two years, or the fact that some people might really not engaging in anything sexual. there are those who hold out for moral, personal, or religious reasons.

God I had such a crush on Timothy Hutton in this movie and I totally related to Marty's character being in love with him.

I feel like those people from the 'Scarlet Letter" where naturally love is consider immoral and punish those from acting on natural human feelings.I feel bad about feelings i have for her.I promised her that i would wait her once she 18 and promised to care her until the day that i die.

I know this girl who 14 and me and her are great friends.I have such wonderfully feelings about her and she said she hopes to see me one day when she turns 18.I feel bad about liking her since she 14 and i`m 20 but i get warm feeling each time i think about her.She acts everything like Marty did in the movie and i am can`t wait to met her one day.Sad how people judge others because society said it wrong when society over time has been proved to wrong about many things suh as slavery

My absolute favorite part of the entire movie..every fiber in my being wanted him to wait for her so badly..Natalie Portman was such a delight in this movie..she is easily the best thing about it..Ted Demme had so much potential as a director..its a shame he passed away.
