Fascinating. I definitely fall on the Shermer/Harris side of this debate, and I think both of them make excellent points. Jean Houston does seem a bit out of place but I like that Shermer/Harris are civil and give her time to explore the topic from a more anthropological/psychological perspective. Chopra, on the other hand, comes off as nothing more than a blowhard, charlatan, con-man who is angry that his meal ticket is being challenged.

@OwlAtHome0 That describes most of the people on the religious side of the debate. You have to watch these by keeping in mind they have books that sell for decent amount of money, so they'll never admit even an inch and just double down every time t hey are proven wrong.

How can you feel if you are in the work of religion? You are selling religion in the most righteous of ways... All the while crowds are attending debates that question the first premise...

"Does God Exist?"

What if you were a geologist in a long line of geologists, and there were several popular debates titled...

"Do Mountains Exist?"
