Lol, it's so safe that they are just driving in a reinforced Hum-Vee with armed guards, and the video is obviously cut up and put together. Amazing reporting again, FOX and Uncle Malkin.
seriously though, it's not like we (the united states military and/or coalition forces) put up new street signs and make the iraqi public addopt these names. it is just within the military community. it was also for, and this is a guess but a good one i think, operational security. that meaning that if for some reason the "insurgents" were able to listen in on our radio conversations they wouldn't know exactly what unit was talking and where exactly they were. you know what i mean?
Sound's like 'Yes' and 'No' responses respectively.
If there was any respect for the Iraqi, the Iraqi names of the roads would be respected .. and not just half the time.
Perhaps meditate on the pure contempt you might feel for the suggestion of a group of Iraqi in the US deciding to rename the main roads in Washington DC after Saddam Hussein and his favourite Iraqi football teams.
It's really important that we "win" in Iraq. Iraq having leadership and a military for security for the people. We must insure that Iraq won't be a terrorist training ground. American involvement is required.
Adolf.. I mean Abolf.. Thats sarcasm.. But, she really must think that video of people doing something then dying is proof that Iraq is doing just fine.. And often when people hear that there 2 sides to every story, they assume that they are equal halves.. Ovbiously, they are not..

they do it so that the roads are easier to identify. some of the roads use both names depending on what unit or what jerk-off officer you speak with.

Doesn't foreign occupiers naming the Iraqi's highway (which existed with an Arabic name well before they interloped) 'Route Irish' insult the Iraqi.
Do you ever imagine Iraq's people freely choosing to dedicate their public landmarks to -The Notre Dame Football Team- and similar??

Really imporant we "apologise" about making false allegations about their accounting for WMD and the warfare that has been predicated on it.
I haven't detected it yet. Have you? Anyone?
