I made a 54 in scarf with no needle for my best friends daughter its baby blue with baby pink. And I didn't know what ends to make then I looked it up on you-tube and going this video, amd loved how you made it. Thanks for showing me how to do it. you are the best.

Thank you Robin! The German shawls all seem to have this knotted fringe, and I haven't been able to find any shawl patterns or books that show how to do it.
Very nice, and not so hard to do. Maybe it takes a little practice though. The German shawls seem to use thinner yarn or perhaps even crochet thread. But they have several rows of knots all evenly placed. It's a nice effect.
Thanks for the encouragement. I have more video lessons in the planning stage and I hope to post them soon.
