Since it isn't my own I didn't race it. I just did pulls from 120km/u up to 200km/u. I ended up using only half a tank of fuel in ~300 km. That means the Golf is very economical ! That was my biggest surprise since my driving style was there to datalog and refine the AFR settings. So these km's were constantly accelerating and breaking.

I am not a big VW fan. But I do like these engines to bits. They like to rev, have lots of torque, can take abuse and are even easy to drive.

I also say I have to clean up the mess I made..

After reviewing the movie I don't know if it were the wheels that were spinning or the clutch that didn't hold. I did have the wheels going mad at 150km/u when it was wet. The whole point with this car is that it is to damn powerfull for its traction and if there is traction you have to think first before applying it. Or you will end up in trouble.. I had loads of fun driving this car.

hab selbst nen 1er gti is schon umgebaut auf 16v will aber auch n 1,8t :)

Golf 1 Cabrio GTI ? gibt es net. (Nicht Offiziel ) Nur per Umbauten des Motors, aber einen Golf 1 Cabrio GTI gibt es nicht, Sowie einen Golf 2 Cabrio gibt es auch nicht Vom Werk.
