  • "Because you can't download it..." Really? Dude artwork is getting more and more important. Back in the day blank CD's were passed around with albums on them.. You can download artwork, sir, you can indeed. I wouldn't go for a torrent unless it had artwork.

  • baizley is enjoying himself some nose candy.

  • AND a YES ALBUM!!! WOO

  • Nice to see a GODFLESH t-shirt!!

  • @macaframa12

    baroness is metal as fuck

  • I like how they're all laughing before the interview even begins. That's a good omen, as far as interviews go, in my eyes. And goddamn, I thought it was existentialism to.

  • haha misty mountain hop

  • i only started listening to them because they had the same sort of vibe as mastodon. definitely not clones, two great unique bands!

  • @topraman519 haha, i have 10 times the sense of humor of most people buddy, and i was taking about the interviewer...we DO NOT need more dorky interviewers in metal...and i wouldnt really call baroness metal either

  • Does Baroness acknowledge the influence of Mastodon? Because maybe the similarity is just coincidental.

In any case, the songwriting in Baroness is way too good to simply dismiss them as a Mastodon clone. I love them both. It's bands like these that keep the metal spirit alive.
