bikerdude990 thanks for the upload, I, for one, did not know the D.C.5 had it in 'em, but believe me buddy this is fabulous! The bass player alone is worth the price of admission, and the guitar player is playin' like a ring in a bell! Mike Smith is singin' and playin' his ass off, plus the production is RIGHT ON! Some nice pictures, too, all around good work! Dave Clark's drumming was more understated in a good way! Just fine!

Great track. Love Lenny Davidsons guitar work. Mike Smith sounds great.

It sounds to me like Mike is just not singing in his normal range, which is not necessarily a bad thing, in my estimation. We're all so used to his upper range that he used on the hits (and in fact, gave his voice the distinctive quality he's known for) that yeah, this feels a little jarring to hear him singing so much lower. Bad song selection? No, bad arranging in not tailoring the keys of the songs to Mike's range. It is fun, tho, and that's what the DC5 was about in the end.

Sorry, but Mike doesn't sound so good on these songs. I know he had a wonderful voice, maybe just bad song selections?
I think Mike was good on almost everything, I like some songs way more than others, I like this set ok, but glad you stopped by.
