I have seen Sheila E. perform this live, and I can tell you that for her, it is an incredibly personal statement. There wasn't a dry eye in the house, including hers. When she first came on the scene, I used to think she was just another pretty face, and since then I have come to appreciate her talent and depth as an artist.

@sfcub69 Come on, now...Sheila E? I was a fan of hers, but it's just different, not this better. I'm sure Sheila would agree--if the soul and True meaning of the song really mean anything to her. Did it mean anything to you? The artist who writes something usually does the Truest version of it. That's true of this song, and others like Dolly Parton's (composer) "I Will Always Love You". Whitney Houston did a legendary job on that, but it's Dolly's song--and I don't even like country music. GBU.†

this is the song of my life. i first heard it done by Capstone. but that's what i was, a jagged rock... still in the process, but getting smoother. thanks for sharing this. you captured the imagery well w/ God's creation of nature. LOVE IT

i luv this song... she sang it at the church where both my parents served on worship team with her in Colorado Springs. :)
