Poulsen vs. Rosenberg

Denmark-Sweden on June 2nd in Copenhagen. Rosenberg tries (but misses?) to hit Poulsen with his elbow prior to Poulsen's just as stupid act, punching Rosenberg in the belly.

NOTE: This video does NOT show Poulsen's infamous bellypunch.

Wiki says about this incident, "referee Fandel sent off Poulsen and awarded Sweden a penalty, which was never taken".

Does anybody know why the pen wasn't taken?

A drunk, fat guy enterede the field and went for the ref, but but was pacified by Michael Gravgaard. The ref called off the match. Sweden would eventually be given a 3-0 victory by UEFA.

It's too bad you didn't have time or whatever to make the close-up with Poulsens punch, even though I suspect you just wanted to show that it was Rosenbergs fault. Anyhow, I read the comments and 1. why do you call it soccer? It' s FOOTBALL gaddämit! it' s only those fucked-up americans who call it soccer. 2. What comes to the argument with cafu and fruknullarn, you should both be happy to have even the slightest chance to get to the WC or EC, while we in Finland haven' t got a glimmer of hope!

This incident was ruined by a selctive sighted linesman, who failed to see Berg throwing the first punch. The proper ruling on the incident would have been, two red cards, one to Berg and one to Poulsen. Then there should have been whistled for a freekick to Denmark. But what do I know, I'm only a refferee...
