the aurora unit is most likely a clone of the mother brain (not a clone as in got some DNA for MB and made an auroa), becase the chozo created the mother brain way before the metroid series, and in the vid it says that scientist created the first aurora 20 years ago (i doubt samus fougth MB when she was 3-9) it says it at aorund ":28".........so in actuallity auroras are "clones" of mother brain, and not the other way around.

The way I understand it is the Chozo didnt create Mother Brain. It was hinted at, but never clarified (in Zero Mission/Super).
