CSW Coach Brandon Kiser, one of the head instructors at Mushin Self Defense in Bountiful Utah, demonstrates a basic "One Arm Under" or "Stack" guard pass as part of his 4 basic guard pass game builder series. This pass in conjunction with the Double Under, the Near Knee Over and Far Knee Over Guard pass, combine to form a very solid "From The Knees" guard passing series.
@riosalone The more you do it the better it gets. I use it all the time and against much more experienced grapplers. I don't get caught much from here mostly I think, because nobody expects this pass any more. Too many people think of it as just "wrong" or "too basic". It works if you work it. It's been my favorite pass since I started and I expect it to remain so for as long as I can keep finding ways to make it work.
I personally don't like to use this guard pass, I get caught in the triangle more often then not when doing it .... My own fault I know, but I think there are far "safer" guard passes.
