What everyone is saying about Adoption is completley True. I was put up for adoption from an 18 year old, and I can say that she really did make the best choice. I live in a good home, and so does she. If she was to keep me, we would probably be living in a bad neighborhood as a single mother.

@Gawjuzbre DUDE congrats! just out of middle school and having a baby! you weren't old enough to drink, go to club parties, get a job, or own a house, but you had a baby! now all the things i mentioned you weren't old enough to do, you won't have time to do, get, or afford when you are old enough to! and DUH that kinda WAS the point of the video.

@Brigirl9 adoption always is #1. If the teenager was stupid enough to have unsafe sex and get knocked up, giving her the choice of what to do with the baby doesn't seem like a good idea. I if i were in that sort of situation i would let my parents choose, they would know what is best (having raised a child)

@alexandrasppl You do make a good point. I know that if it were me I'd have a lot of difficulties giving up my child. It would take a lot of maturity and strength to go through with that. If a teen mom chooses to keep her baby (it is her choice afterall) she should definitely make sure there is a stable adult willing to help her. As much as I hate abortion, if it's what would be best for the child (and is the absolute last resort), then it is the better option. But I still see adoption as #1

@Brigirl9 That's true, adoption IS the best choice, but most of the time the teen mom wants to keep the baby once its born. To avoid the teenager from changing their mind, abortion will be commonly suggested. Do you really think it's in the teenagers best interest to throw away their life for an unborn baby?

@alexandrasppl True, but during the first weeks of pregnancy most women are unaware that they are pregnant yet. It is my own belief that a baby is alive the moment it's heart starts beating, and that's generally 5-7 weeks after conception. Whether the fetus can feel pain or not, it's beating heart says its alive. Adults are considered living if their heart is beating, it should be the same for infants. And I believe adoption is the best choice. Infertile couples have a right to be parents too

@Brigirl9 if you abort you kill the baby before it is even alive, you can only abort a baby to a certain point in the growing process, otherwise its illegal since the baby has no feeling the first few weeks into the pregnancy. abusing an animal is making it suffer for as long as possible with the intentions of pain being brought to it. abortion is getting rid of the baby as fast and safe as possible. also, if the baby is unwanted would you want it to be brought into a world with no love?

wait a minute, so whenever you rock your baby to sleep while youre doing homework, you somehow magically get more homework than you originally had?! (the books kept piling back up after she tended to the baby) and how in the hell did your baby get out of its play pen with no gate?? unrealistic, failure
