  • They played "Treehouse" in NYC a couple of weeks ago.

  • Some drunk women kept requesting "Treehouse" at a show of theirs in August, so Matthew played it for her in the lobby after the show. They are the classiest guys! I mean when on earth do they ever play ANYTHING from High/Low (save "Popular" and, occasionally, "Stalemate")?

I'm just amazed at how down to earth and nice all of them are. I envy all of you that were at this show, however. Did he just up and show up and start playing or what? What's the story there?

  • how good is nada surf, awesome acoustic

  • Thanks again so much for posting videos of the BEST band ever! FYI, I posted some videos as well of the show. =)

  • wow, I was there, and wow....it looks even better on youtube...as do I, but I digress..that was possibly the best show, and I don't throw that term around loosely...the BEST SHOW I have ever seen in my natural born life...not only did Republic Tigers rock out...Nada Surf played oldies and newbies...and to put the icing on the proverbial cake...he came out and did an acoustic set for 40 minutes!!!!

  • I'm on that video....bottom right. Quite possibly the BEST show I've been to in my natural born life....The Republic Tigers were great, as was Nada Surf's set (I was excited to hear old and NEW stuff!) This 40 minute acoustic set Matthew did on his own was just the icing on the proverbial cake....omg, so great....so electric!

  • Awesome! I was there...Matthew rocks! Hmm, I might have been standing to your left during the concert and I think I hear my voice on this video...great video!

  • Your video came out better than mine, this was just incredible. I was speechless.
