i'm from the usa, living in cambridge massachusetts. i return to palestine and israel each year for about 3 months. i love ramallah, as you do, and miss it when i'm not there. but i also love gaza, the galilee, the golan, the mediterranean coast, and jerusalem. luckily because i am from the usa i can go to all those places, whereas many palestinians, maybe you also, are prevented by israel from free travel. that has to change.

i saw lots of women in the video, perhaps not as many as the men. the disparity might be due to the larger percentage of men on the streets of ramallah and generally in palestinian-arabic-muslim regions.

yes, it snows periodically, like once (briefly) every few years. never when i was there in the winter. but snow fell last winter. i've seen lots of photos on line about this. ramallah is in the hills or mountains and is known for its relatively cool climate.
