  • It looked like you knit the last stitch of the row in the back loop (ktbl) at about 2:59 and 3:28. Though your purled the last stitch through the front loop.

Was I seeing correctly? If so, is this done purposely? Perhaps to make a neater edge?

  • @DebCoMO

yes I did knit the last stitch through the back and although I usually purl the last stitch through the back too I didn't do that on this video. The reason was I didn't want to give too much information that might confuse the viewer. It does make a neater edge to do both that way.

  • i find your teaching very good. Thank you for all your videos, you re teaching me to knit and i love what i am learning. Thank you so very much

  • Thank you! I watched a couple others on the moss stitch, but kept getting my yarn confused... I'm a beginner and knew where I needed the yarn, but was confused as to how to make it do that.... by you saying "yarn in front" before the purl, etc. it helped me big time! Now I'm on my way to the moss stitch!

  • Thanks for all your videos! They are very helpful!

  • this is way too fast :(

  • much too fast for beginners, I know knit and purl but I can't do moss stitch, it seems to double the stitches in number and get into knots. I hoped this video would help but as she knits too fast it's useless.
