@wooflock Well, It sucks about radio, but i agree with you on helium
-
@mikilofo90 Using Helium is a better option. Also full-facemasks do not have built in radio communication. You can buy it for some masks, but the cost of it is astronomical. Your buddy also needs to spend a fortune if you want someone to talk with.

I suggest all divers who deep dive or just normal dive, to get full-face mask. here is advantages of it
1. you don't need to hold regulator, so when you are narc'd, you will still breath.
2. It got built-in radio communications

My fiance suffered nitrogen narcosis because his divecom instructor lost sight of him and he went too deep too fast...so much for the buddy system. Needless to say he sunk to the bottom, became disoriented, ditched his weights and shot to the top. Result: Explosive Decompression, massive brain injury and an very incompetent scuba instructor. Personal responsibility is key, but you put your trust in a scuba instructor when learning how to scuba dive and pray they aren't this incompetent.

loose your mask and you will see if you laugh again
-
how do you laugh like this and not get choked with water
-
yes extreme narcosis can be very dangerous , just like extreme consumption of alcohol..but what with the moralistic comments ? get a life ,friggin puritans ,and instead of judging others ,dive shallow if you prefer to...
-
"just unconsciousness because of going deep on air." Interesting statement.. Then ask yourself why do you think you get unconscious when diving deep on air?
The answer to that is the nitrogen narcosis.
So, well true, you dont die from the narcosis.. you die because you drown. But you drown because your loss of consciousness. due to ha high partial pressure of nitrogen in your blood..
-
@wooflock That's not due to nitrogen narcosis then. That's just unconsciousness because of going deep on air.
-
@gillettecrackers there are sadly many deaths due to nitrogen narcosis. true is that mostly you do stupid things. But going deep on air will also cause Unconsciousnes. Historically this was more common than it is today since Trimix diving has become more popular. Today no one dives Andrea Doria on air for example. In the ninties however and in the eighties when people went past 70meters on air some perished when they blacked out due to nitrogen narcosis.
They are just fuckin with you. They are tech divers having fun. You don't act like this when you narc out.
