Awww I love rats they make such sweet pets. Hmmm the female is white with a little brown patch, and the male is cream with red eyes...that'll be a neat combination! =)

@thisisbonkers once the female is in heat itl last 12 hrs.but it only takes TWO sds for a male to inseminate a female [kinda sad lol] but statistics show only 1 out 5 times can get her pregnant.lucky for the boy they can mount every min or so if allowed..meaning evry min of those 12 hrs is able to get her prego..i work with rat breeders and the reason why they do a week is a rats head its evry 3-5days &they wana be SURE the girls prego hope i helped [tho its prob dun n ovr with]

@EmpressPhoenix This is a breeding tank :P They're normally only in there during the time of breeding. I'm possitive they have a nice big cage full of toys waiting for them
