Guitar lesson for the song Boom Boom. This song was written by John Lee Hooker in the early 60s. The Animals covered this song on their debut album in '64. My take on it is more like The Animals' version.

  • does anyone know what the B chord is officially called? I've run into it before in Outside Woman Blues, and I'm at a loss for what to call a chord with both a major and minor third.

  • @Gwyrddu Some call it a Hendrix chord

  • I give this a 9.7 out of 10 and i have watched hundrededs of lessons. I don't know what u do for a liven, but u should be teaching!! I learned more in one day from u than all the rest in six months. Thanks for the lesson

  • Not bad for me to start with but I would have been very happy if it this lesson based note for note and for the original version. I think for a beginner it is very important to mimic the original before doing own version. Thank you for your time.

  • very nice job ..well done bucko
