@pur3k0 marijuana is natrual...speed is not...it's chemical and completely unnatrual. It has side effects that cannabis doesn't because cannabis is a plant that grows from the earth. I have nothing against weed nor do I consider it a gateway drug so I really don't know why you are comparing them. I am only comparing gateway drugs in the sense of chemical, proven to be addictive, narcotics given to kids for nothing more then not fitting the outdated public school system format of learning.

You can't fuck with a little kid's brain chemistry with narcotics for a decade and expect them to get off it and be the same ever again...it wouldn't work like that with cocaine so it doesn't work that way with legal kiddie cocaine either. it was my gateway drug too...Ritalin anyway...but I didn't abuse it...I was neglegently over prescibed it starting during it's hay day in 1984 until 1993. I'm sorry you became addicted and I believe you 100% that it is a gateway drug...
