  • I had this done for my SIJD... It failed to help. Actually made it worse. The person had 20 years plus of experience with the SIJ...

So much for it being out of alignment for me.

Although I do suggest people TRY this option as it may work for them.

So in spite of my outcome, this is a good treatment to try. Excellent video by the way.

    Five stars! :~)

  • Who did "this" to you? Are you sure it was same? And why he did that if you had no malalignment?

  • No, no, no!!!

It´s not like that he says: the problem is always on the other side than the pain.

In real life it could be also same SIJ which is painfull. It should be examined better.

  • You are right. But don't look for pain but malalignment.

  • I watched this video and had my friend do this treatment for me, i felt and he heard a "popping / clicking" sound and my back has never been this good.

  • i have this exact same problem.. its in my right side.. im 20 to! sucks having pain at this age and i had it for 2.3 years!! wat do you have to do to get rid of the pain???

  • cont: And, even with telling at least 100 or more different Doctors from nuerisurgeons, to orthpaedic ER doctors, to spine specilists, to many others along the way... Not a one would stop forcing me into having what they thought I should. Even with all the evidence showing Sciatica (while the sciatic nerve was being annoyed for a time) once they heard pain to the great toe... Oh, it's a disc porblem. It's got to be sciatica.

Sadly evidence based medicine is not always correct at least for me.

  • Cont. from reply to parantunut:

Unlike many people who I have talked to I know 100% what caused my SIJD issues, and even with that I was mis diagnosed for over 12 years as having Sciatica... Even when I kept putting my hand on the spot of impact in my accident in 1995...

The spot is the left SIJ... Where when a walk behind machine I was using yanked me as it fell, into the corner edge of an upright hip hiegh tombstone where I worked as a grounds keeper. The corner point was where it hit.

  • Well he was fully qualified in this type of thing. We didn't know if it was or not, and so after trying all the so called more tradititional methods to treat it, and those not working...

The only thing my SIJ shows as different out of all of the possible tests is from a standard xray... My left has a good half inch space in the SIJ, the right side is the way it should be, nice and close together.

That was why we thought malalingment was possible. I will continue in a new comment. :~)
