  • I like Mr. Smith. PLEASE don't get me wrong! But this goofy Kermit song adds a meaning to the song I never felt before. Loss... Screw ups, a plethora of emotion. I hope you can see past the comedy to the meaning if surrender?

  • Wow, this video has gotten more views and comments than I expected! I'm no 'Youtuber', so thanks everyone that's enjoyed it. If I had talent, I make something else cool, but... well, there ya go. LOL

  • I actually discovered this song from this video.

  • @LordNifty lol, I'd never heard the song either, until I went to the Sad Kermit site. So, Kermit helped me discover Elliot Smith.

    Weird. =)

  • I love the double tracked vocals. Nice touch.

  • I think this is one of the better songs from the sad Kermit site. I made a quick vid because I noticed it was one of the only songs from there that wasn't on Y-tube. And yes, the double vocals add a lot to it. :)

  • I love this song and think it is way better than the original! :)

  • @zenakujusticar lol, I feel the same way too.... maybe because it's even more depressing since it's been transposed to a different key which gives it a different feeling...

  • Elliott Smith a man with songs of no meaning to him but extreme meaning to his fans R.I.P.

  • This is more depressing than the Elliot Smith Original

  • Believe it or not, I listened to this on repeat after breaking up with my "girlfriend" who said we weren't in a relationship anyway, so it really didn't matter to her. Thank you, Sad Kermit, for letting us all know that we aren't alone in our sadness.

  • I actually like this better than the original, i dont know why.
