These are the final scenes of Perry & Maggie's story from the mini-series Mistral's Daughter. If anyone has read the book, could you tell me if Perry's death was related in detail, or did Judith Krantz sort of skip over it in the book as they do here in the mini-series, too? So sad :-( Comments are welcome!

  • I liked this film, but I'm not sure... did he die? The film doesn't show us.... How did he die? An accident? Thanks for this video....

  • @Pfeiferfox You must've blinked ;P Watch 10:12 thru 10:20 where the attorney explains what happened.

  • @pacemoy Ok.... thanks for your answer, I watched again and understood better. Have a Good New Year and God Bless you.

  • @Pfeiferfox Thank you -- the same to you :D

  • That was awful, why couldnt he have thought to change his will. How their lives could and should have been. But instead this.

  • @ADyingFaith Isn't that how most of us are, though . . . thinking we have all the time in the world when every day could be our last. Tragic situation :-( Perry was such a loving soul -- if he'd been a real person, he never would've rested in peace.

  • He died because of happiness, because of that he didn't notice the Taxi, how sad :(

  • How sad this is. Moves me really to tears . Also the music.

  • @pacemoy

    Me too

  • @pacemoy It is a very tragic situation. When I said how their lives should have been, I did mean if he hadnt have so unexpectedley and tragically died. The wonderful future they had to live together. His mind was obviously filled with that future stretching before him to think of the unimaginable possibility of dying so soon.
