I feel much safer after having a federal employee pat down my entire body and feel the inside of my waist band. And of course, putting my 3 oz liquids and gels in a ziploc bags.

  • if you make a video make sure you DO NOT MAKE yourself an IDIOT!

  • I totally agree

  • next time..do that BEFORE you go through the check. thanks

  • Very true, but if you do work then you know that what the video is saying is a load of crap

  • It's so the X-ray operator can quickly check the ammount on the label without having to call a bag check on bottles/containers that look close to being at or over the 3.4 limit. The plastic bag is so you don't have liquids spilling into the bins that passengers also need to place expensive business coats and medical devices into.

  • Well...You can put gun powder and other explosives into anything nowadays and all it takes is a small amount that fits into the palm of your hand to blow up half a car. But I think in my opinion having stuff like that in a bag makes it convenient and so stuff don't leak all over.
