Affliction Warlock DPS! - Level 85, ft. Cromar - TGN

We look at the spec and rotation for an Affliction Warlock, and analyze the testing results via Recount. All testing is done against a raid boss dummy with no buffs besides basic class abilities. Gear is level 333 premade junk.

Affliction is a fairly complex rotation with lots of debuffs to take into consideration. Make sure your Improved Soul Fire, Improved Shadow Bolt, Bane of Agony, Unstable Affliction, and Haunt are on the target at all times. Fill in the gaps with Drain Life, which will automatically refresh your corruption; unless there is a break in dps due to boss mechanics, your corruption should never fall off.

For this test, I found it much easier to manage my dots with an addon. I used DoTimer from Curse, but any buff/debuff manager addon will do.

This video is wayyy dated. Plus this information is wrong, it was a beta video... If you're basing your rotation off of this you should probably get kicked out of any raid group you're in. And to the guy who asked about immolate, apparently you don't know anything about unstable affliction.

@DoA5forlife69 FEAR is ur favorite move for pvp u can fear over and over, if ur afflic. get the Curse of Exhaustion for the mobs/enemies to move 30% less :)
