Elise Derrico Plays W.H. Squire's Tarantella

One of my students, Elise Derrico, accompanied by her father, David Derrico performs the fun piece Tarantella late the night after she wins the FFMC state trophy for this division. She wanted to film it to share with her friends, so I complied. Here it is. Hope you enjoy it, I certainly did.

if she wasn't so aware of the camera... I think she could give a very good performance of this piece... needs a bit more passion... and pianist... don't give up the day job!!!!

well, I think most young ladies have the "fantasy" of being a movie star. Remember this was for her friends, so a little "camera awareness" is to be expected. Pianist is her father, degreed in performance and music education, professor at UF, and nurse at Shands.  Bad piano, and well....you know.

Heck I'll be lucky if I still remember a scale fingering on the piano!

im mike her brother is ben i have known her for as long like 6 years mabie her nd her brother both play cello so they sound pretty good .
