In a campaign that sets out to change drivers' attitudes to low-level speeding by exposing the community problem that sits at the heart of it, we constructed a crash made up of people. The final image was made possible with the help of Adelaide body paint artist Emma Hack. The shoot took a total of 18 hours, using 17 men and women -- each with up to five layers of paint applied to their bodies.

Thanks for your feedback. We and many others locally, nationally and internationally care because speed is the biggest contributor to the trauma we witness on our roads daily.

Thanks Sam. It was certainly a close group that needed to be comfortable in each others space!

I guess what he meant was:

    1) If you hire just 1 (one) photorealism painter, you'd save heaps of taxpayers money (won't make such a lovely video though).

    2) It makes more sense to focus on REAL threats on the roads (which speeding is not amongst really, e.g. speedcamerareport . co.uk/01_speeding.htm). For example, your Mobile Phone vdo is amazing, keep it that way. Skewing facts won't earn you credit.

    Nice take on the piece.

There are some people who have gotten too desensitized when it comes to vehicles and humans. For example people who use threatening humor based on the signs "Baby on board". Is it too much to consider driving safely because a life is in the car?

This is amazing! And done in my favorite colors.

My criticism is that perhaps breaking up the color a bit more would have made the bodies more obvious. But once you spot the body for the hood under the window, it draws your eyes to the others.

art involving people stacked on each other is dehumanizing

but i guess the 1% tend to like that type of art because they are accustomed to dehumanizing the 99% and they like what is familiar to them
