In 1959 the scientist-novelist C.P. Snow (1905-1972) delivered his famous Rede Lecture at Cambridge, published as The Two Cultures and the Scientific Revolution. His identification of a deep and dangerous divide between the sciences and the humanities has persisted, evoked more recently in the "culture wars" and "science wars." UMBC Professors Welch and Tatarewicz look at Snow, his historical context, and his enduring influence. G. Rickey Welch, Professor & Joseph N. Tatarewicz, Associate Professor and Director, Human Context of Science & Technology Program, UMBC

Before blaming wrong-doing on "Westerners", I thought the introductory statements regarding CP Snow's becoming "deeply involved in the mobilization of scientific personnel" during WWII justifies a close look at the recently declassified "Operation Paperclip" which brought thousands of Nazi scientists, instead of to justice, brought these Nazis into cushy American "science" employment. You might want to look at the character and occult activities of "Nazi" culture just to get a balanced view.

There has been far FAR more wealth created by the West than poverty and yet this guys argument persists. And its a Left wing Communist argument and both have been completely victorious and not just socially, as events have revealed.
Political Correctness dominates EVERYWHERE.
This "humanist" is a promoter of fantasy. A David who has long since defeated his Goliath while still pretending he's David, now forced to proping up a phoney Goliath strawman. Dishonest! False!
