A great way to improve or learn basic kipping pullup and then transfer the skill to the bar.

In step 3 - it might be helpful to push away from the rings as soon as legs are in front of you!

  • this is a different type of kip.

    Normally a kip on the still rings is executed differently.

    You usually hang upside down and bring your legs down then shoot up to get to support.

    still this is good for conditioning!

  • @steelsaint25 I'v since had a look around- they seem to be more useful when doing muscle up's- especially on rings where you might want the momentum to get in to planche.

  • @EvilLamas Just the speed at which you can do pull ups really. It incorporates the core more too.

  • What is the advantage of a kip pull up, over a normal pull up?
