Filmed by Anna Little -- More than 15,000 school children rally around the number 350ppm on the 350.org International Day of Climate Action in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Representatives from the President of Ethiopia's office gave a speech, as did officials from the Ethiopian Department of Meteorology. Check out www.350.org for more info.

  • interesting video

  • about the environmental movement. Very interesting.

  • Wow atomicgirl.... the propaganda has you all wrapped up. I think it is important to understand the basis of how propaganda works. Maybe then you will be able to see how they play on your heartstrings to elicit the desired action from you.

If you would like to go a bit further, I would recommend looking up a character named Edward Bernays. He was Sigmund Freud's nephew, and essentially created the idea of public relations and propaganda.

  • Furthermore Colourful zero,

When debating someone, it is important to keep the language civil. Insults such as "loser" only serve to expose your own personal insecurities.

I hope my information has been informative and enlightening. If you choose to debate me, please stick to the facts and leave the emotions at home.

According to all data I can find, (other than the United nations web site), earth's history has had significantly higher levels of Co2 in the past.

  • 286 - 360 million years ago in the Carboniferous Period

Atmospheric concentrations of carbon dioxide (CO2) in the Early Carboniferous Period were approximately 1500 ppm (parts per million), but by the Middle Carboniferous had declined to about 350 ppm -- comparable to average CO2 concentrations today! During this period, there was large and abundant life on earth.

Current CO2 ppm is about 380... or .038 percent of earth's atmosphere.

  • Since 1812, the CO2 concentration in northern hemispheric air has fluctuated exhibiting three high level maxima around 1825, 1857 and 1942 the latter showing more than 400 ppm. Between 1857 and 1958, the Pettenkofer process was the standard analytical method for determining atmospheric carbon dioxide levels, and usually achieved an accuracy better than 3%. These determinations were made by several scientists of Nobel Prize level distinction

  • Dear Terraalert, I am not anti science. In fact the very basis of science is skepticism and debate, not consensus.

I am happy to discuss the facts with you, and share information.. Send me a message on youtube and we can exchange emails or phone numbers. I am happy to talk with you. And yes I am serrious. I know people who work in climate science.

The argument for anthropogenic global warming has many holes in it.

  • hahahahahahahahaha... are you serious?

There are so many anti-science, conspiracy theory drones on youtube it's comical.

  • 350 is a propaganda outlet for a new facist banking system based on carbon credits. C02 is vital for life on the planet, and it has never driven climate change according to ice core data. Please look past your initial emotional reaction, and think critically about this concept. 350 is a scam.

  • are you actually serious??? in the past 650000 years the amount of ppm of carbon has NEVER been above 300, even with natural fluctuation. we are at 387, the numbers cant lie! the facts dont lie! losers like you, do.
