VCU's Unhappy Riot!

VCU loses to Butler, and the ensuing riot isn't as inspiring as the last one.

@VictorianRomantic Yeah, the other one's hardly qualify as riots. I was more unhappy because the cops maced me in the eyes for filming them.

Funny thing will-- Talked to mah pops about the Riot-- He laughed and told me it "reminds him of his University of Maryland days". I'm guessing whenever Duke beat Maryland. Cool story, bro

I think this riot would've happened even if we HAD beat Butler. You think people had fireworks on them just because we lost? People were prepared to get crazier if we'd won because it was gonna be a bigger deal. Anyway, it just bugs me that people think it was us being angry, when really it was everyone just going nuts over the fact we even made it to the final four.

Will, I hate to say it, but this was the only REAL riot we had. The first two weren't real riots, because the definition of a riot is: a noisy, violent public disorder caused by a group or crowd of persons, as by a crowd protesting against another group, a government policy, etc., in the streets

the stuff we did when we beat FSU and Kansas - that was just celebration in the streets.

I wouldn't call what happened when we lost to Butler an "unhappy riot." It was a Riot, that was all.
