This is a great way to punish kids for not doing their homework. Walk around the school 10 times saying I will do my homework.

My teacher gave me an article on it a while ago. Not sure where. It did say that 1.5 to 2 hours of HW or more won't increase knowledge, even decrease it.

i actually heard homework gains no new knowledge. sometimes even decreases knowledge. im not kidding. i read an article where researchers actually studied this and said kids are better off without hw. thx to my 6th grade teacher for showing me. :-) so stop punishing these kids. punishing them for doing something that actually helps them... Evil!
