I personally not really like nice effects, but I do care about performance of the system while running such applications, which of course require a very fast Processor. I use animated applications only for my convinience, for example to have quick access to apps and paging. I save most of the RAM to play games softly.

Yeah, its okay. Its cool. But it does not come any where close to the Compiz-Fusion technology that is avaiable to Linux Desktops / Users.
Take it from an avid O/S X lover. I have O/S X Leopard running on my Mac, but I prefer Ubuntu Linux, which also installed on my Mac. Expose, Spaces, Stacks, You Control Destops & iTunes are all fine and dandy but they are nothing compared to the Compiz-Fusion technology that is only availalbe RIGHT NOW for Linux O/S(s). Sorry.

its more useful then pointless though..ive been through couuunttlesss application modifications and these are the only useful ones....although i do like the panning better than 3d cube

Also, sweet desktop. Always thought about trying out those you control apps, but never got around to it. Looks like I should though. :P
