Punk is, and always was, an attitude. Most of the 'Punk' groups didn't see them selves as 'punk'. Having said that, they didn't deny their punk followers.

Just thought I'd put in my 2 cents about what punk is... I'll make it more general.
Punks are just individuals who believe in Anarchy, as in individuality, therefor were all Punks, pretty simple isn't it, Even Thomas Jefferson was a punk and Stated it thus already, so Fuck the BS, Punks!!! Fuck it's all good!

The Adicts Rocks, they rule!...today when I see a punk rocker in the street I just see a fucking fashion...I don't see that old punk attitude...I think punk burned in the 70's and died in the 70's..for me, today...the fact to be a punk is just to be a part of another fashion...If someone wanna feel that is "punk", just be yourself, scream if you want to scream, fight if you want to fight, but dont go to the shoestore for Dr Martens and make a mohawk in your head, this is not about your clothes.

Dude wats up with all the arguement about what punk is? Punk is not a fashion yea i agree to tht but true punks reunite with each other true punks stick together not fight with each other and true punks dont judge ppl but as long you appreciate the music your very close to being a true punk
