I played against Marty Lyons in 1974 when he was at St.Pete Catholic High School. It was a spring game, and I was playing linebacker for Tampa Catholic. He played defensive line and occasionally, fullback. I remember him running down the field with me attached to his leg. I don't think he even knew I was there.

Wow! Amazing to see such talent spread around that set! Then I catch a glimps of Derrick Thomas sitting there.....quite emotional for me on so many different levels...just WOW....

Lyons, said you better pass.

McNeal's play is is awesome.

My favorite thing about the goal line stand is that Krauss told Fusina that he better pass...confidence and then he backed it up.

This is from the Alabama Football Legends Reunion. This a two disc dvd with all kinds
of stories. A really awesome dvd.
I was 13 years old in 1979 and had followed The ALABAMA CRIMSON TIDE my entire life. This play is etched into my mind and Barry Krauss and Marty Lyons will forever be my heroes...
