@axel1973w 3mm = about 3000rpm for steel, softer material can use a higher speed and different drill tip angle. twice the size of the drill, half the speed. Half the size of the drill, double the speed. So for PCB, the faster the better really, especially for small drills.
the drill runs WAY TOO SLOW for a small drill bit like that. i cant remember properly anymore, but there is a formular to calculate the required rpm for the used drillbit. check out wikipedia or google for it.

Very fine HSS bits can usually be found relatively inexpensively if there are any hobby jewellery-making shops in your area.
