Paul Heaton, 'Flag Day', Camden Monarch, London, 13.5.10

I went to see Paul Heaton formerly of The Housemartins up in grubby ol' Camden. He played two Housemartins songs (I hate to be a stereotype but that's what I wanted to hear!) and the crowd went suitably nuts.

he's now got his own real ale pub in manchester!! think he does the odd gig, the beers top notch and there's a theatre upstairs for drama/plays.

Thanks for posting this. Housemartins are one of my all-time favourites. Its odd to think about Paul performing in tiny clubs as he's always been HUGE in my head. So what's his new material like (not that I wont be hunting immediately after posting this)?
