ummm, Ive made the link years ago. What you share here is the bleedin obvious. What really concerns me is why are we not doing more than we are considering we know so much. Its clear to me that the problems that we are now facing in the natural world can be directly linked to the behaviours of our so called leaders. The checklist that Robert Hare has designed would easily identify these so called leaders as psycopaths.

Lovecraft, pulp magazine horror writer of the 1930's, created the conceived 'Great Old One' as having been the source of the creation of the universe, a 'blind idiot chaos which bubbles and blasphemes at the center of infinity.' Although Jehovah seems a bit more lucid, at times, if one takes in the apparent random nature of existence, in my opinion it puts Azathoth well within the running for top deity-concept...

Yes. Furthermore many conservative politicos garner their philosophy from Atlas Shrugged, aka; "The Bible on Selfishness", and written by a diagnosed personality disorder - Ann Raynd. The go to philosopher for Republicans, a Sociopath? Chilling. What's sad, is how many hits some conspiracy theory garbage gets when the real truth behind the curtains of governance, religion and entertainment is the psychology of self-interest and pathological deficits in empathy that define many of these leaders.
